補助項目

美國紐約COPE NYC：

  • 駐村環境：獲補助藝術家需支付進駐空間費用，單純進駐為每月2300美元; 辦理展覽為每月3500美元。駐村單位將提供創作工具及材料，並引薦當地平價的住宿空間。

  • 交通津貼：「臺灣－美國紐約」經濟艙來回機票，回國後依實核銷，總計不得逾新台幣7萬元整 (含稅)。

  • 生活及創作津貼：新台幣10萬元整(含稅)。包含：生活費、創作材料費、個人所得稅、二代健保費、美國國內交通費等相關支出。
    ※於駐村期間，應支付COPE NYC進駐費用每月2300-3500美元(依使用方式而定)。由獲補助藝術家直接支付給COPE NYC；其他活動參與之開銷及安排亦需由藝術家自理。

  • 旅遊平安險：駐村期間獲補助藝術家需投保旅遊平安險（含意外醫療及死亡傷殘），保險費用以新台幣400萬之保額為上限，回國後保險費依實核銷。

荷蘭當代藝術機構iii：

  • 駐村環境：提供免費住宿及創作空間，及與當地跨域藝術家共創機會。

  • 交通津貼：「臺灣－荷蘭」經濟艙來回機票，回國後依實核銷，總計不得逾新台幣7萬元整 (含稅)。

  • 生活創作津貼：生活及創作津貼：新台幣10萬元整(含稅)。包含：生活費、創作材料費、個人所得稅、二代健保費、荷蘭國內交通費等相關支出。

  • 旅遊平安險：駐村期間獲補助藝術家需投保旅遊平安險（含意外醫療及死亡傷殘），保險費用以新台幣400萬之保額為上限，回國後保險費依實核銷。

以上補助項目有疑問時，應於申請期間及入選後簽訂契約前提出。

申請方式

  • 僅接受網路報名，申請者請填具申請表，並於申請截止日前完成線上申請。

回饋方式

獲補助藝術家需完成以下事項：

  • 繳交駐村成果報告書：至少1,000字，格式自訂，內容應包含：駐村地點介紹、駐村過程、創作過程、駐村期間之交流體驗、展演過程及成果、照片等。需於回國後四週內，且不得晚於2023年11月15日前提交。

  • 最晚需於2023年11月15日前於主辦單位指定地點辦理一場公開發表或經驗分享座談會，若因故尚未回國，可透過線上方式辦理。

其他注意事項

(一)審查結果將公佈於臺南市政府文化局網站、蕭壠文化園區網站及粉絲專頁。

(二)核銷方式：

  • 生活創作津貼：簽約用印完畢並繳交駐村計畫書，於出國前匯款支付生活創作津貼。

  • 交通津貼(含機票及保險費)：回國後最遲應於四週內，且不得超過2023年11月15日繳交駐村成果報告書及辦理完畢經驗分享座談會，並需於2023年11月30日前檢附電子機票正本(或機票票根)、購票證明、登機證存根正本、護照影本、護照出入境頁影本、保單正本、保單收據正本、駐村成果報告書、存摺影本等予主辦單位辦理核銷作業。

(三)獲補助藝術家應與主辦單位於駐村前簽約並同意該進駐藝術機構之駐村規則，並遵守進駐藝術機構及主辦單位之COVID-19防疫規定及措施，若有任何更新之防疫規定，應全面配合辦理。

(四)對以上任一項目有疑問時，獲補助藝術家應於申請期間及入選後簽訂契約前提出。

Eligibility

  • Soulangh and Tsung-Yeh take as its theme the concept of ‘Site-Specific Art’. We welcome applicants who are interested in Interdisciplinary, Visual art, Performance, Photography*(Soulangh Only).

  • All applicants must be able to communicate in either English or Chinese.

  • SAV: 1 March to 20 November, 2019.

  • TYAV: 14 January to 17 November, 2019.

Each applicant can only be accepted for one term, the minimum is 45 days and maximum in 90 daysper applicant.

How to apply

  • A letter of recommendation is required. You need to submit at least one letter of recommendation from an artist, curator, director, researcher, or organizational professional. The title and full name of the recommender should be clear, and the letter should be signed personally or attached as a signature file.

  • According to the resident program, if applicants require assistants (i.e., someone who is not anapplicant), it is the applicant’s responsibility to notify SAV in the application form, and all eligible expenses for such assistants will be included in the subsidy. No extra expenses will be provided for assistants after submission of the application.

  • All selected artists can apply for accommodation; however, such accommodation is only for resident artists. To maintain the safety, living quality and rights of every single artist, the accommodation is not available for non-artists to stay overnight (including family members,assistants, partners or pets).

Program Provisions - what do we offer?

  • Living and working expenses in Taiwan (including 18% personal income-tax and insurance) - partly subsidized (NT$ 30,000 per month maximum). The total amount will be paid in installments. Artists will receive payment directly, excluding any tax.

  • Presentation expenses - The maximum allocation is NT$ 100,000 (including tax), which will be paid directly to the relevant contractors. The above expenses include: providing a service or materials used in completing workshops, exhibitions and performances, brochure design and printing, dissemination, and expenses for a press conference. Any transportation fees for worksare excluded.

  • If you have any enquiries about the subsidy, you should notify Soulangh or Tsung-Yeh Artist Village during the application process or before signing the contract.

Program Requirements - applicants’ responsibilities

  • During the residency, the selected applicants should provide one type of presentation, such as an exhibition or a performance. If you would also like to hold a workshop, this would be highly welcomed.

  • Approaching the end of the residency, the successful applicants are required to complete areport and questionnaire. The report should include details of the residents’ experience, the progress of the project and any relevant feedback.

蕭壠國際藝術村 Soulangh Artist Village

蕭壠國際藝術村成立於2013年，每年公開徵選專業藝術家進駐，屬蕭壠文化園區重點執行計畫之一。

蕭壠文化園區前身係臺南佳里糖廠倉庫群，共計14棟，統稱蕭壠十四倉，佔地約13.8 公頃。佳里糖廠，建廠於西元1906 年，是日本明治製糖株式會社在臺灣設立的第一座新式製糖工廠，日據時期運糖的火車鐵道，串連起14 棟倉庫，形成蕭壠深具特色的南、北兩條廊道。

佳里糖廠特有的人文風貌與綠蔭建築之美，閒置空間再利用後賦予其新的使命與面貌。2003 蕭壠文化園區籌備處成立，整修荒蕪的廢棄倉庫，保留建築原有樣貌、植樹、綠美化自然環境，並進行各棟倉庫整修及空間改造工作，讓這些舊式倉庫，各自展現出不同的內部空間設計與應用，以嶄新的生命重新呼吸，於2005 年1 月正式對外開園，讓糖廠以藝文基地的嶄新面貌重回人們的生活中。

Soulangh Artist Village has initiated since 2013. Arose from the former Jiali Sugar Factory. The Soulangh Artist Village’s revitalized Japanese era sugar refinery warehouses successfully merge historic architecture with modern design in an area rich in history, culture and agriculture. The artist village is a cultural stronghold for traditional performance and folk arts and is emerging as a modern art venue that promotes artistic growth.

Soulangh Artist Village aims to foster international exchange with artists from around the world and create a vibrant community of artists; local and international, emerging and established. Artists will be living in close proximity to local craftsmen artisans and are encouraged to take the community and vibrant local culture as inspiration for their art works. Artists have access to wheelchair accessible air-conditioned modern studio spaces, galleries and theatres for exhibitions, workshops and performances.

藝術家宿舍 Artist Accommodation

藝術家宿舍為原台糖備勤室，於2015年整修完成啟用。宿舍共有6間套房(含私人衛浴)，公共空間包含：廚房、客廳及洗衣間。提供免費WI-FI。藝術家宿舍係藝術家駐村時，專心創作之餘休憩所用，為維護其他駐村藝術家之住宿安全、衛生及使用權利，恕無法提供藝術家本人以外之人士入住。

Artist accommodation used to be the on-duty-staff accommodation of sugar factory, and has been officially reopened since 2015. There are 6 suites (with private bathroom), kitchen, living room and washing room. Free Wi-Fi.

The accommodation is only for resident artists. In order to maintain the safety, living quality and rights of every single resident artist, the accommodation is not available for artists’ accompany, family or assistant to stay overnight.

總爺國際藝術村 Tsung-Yeh Artist Village

總爺藝文中心前身為總爺糖廠，原為日本明治製糖株式會社總社所在，於1906年成立，總爺糖廠則是在1911年落成，曾是麻豆地區的主要經濟來源。雖然已過了一世紀，這裡早已不再製糖，但昔日的老火車頭、早期糖廍榨甘蔗的石車、和洋混合的建築群與百年樟樹所形成的綠色隧道皆保留完整。

總爺糖廠成立百年，1999年經前臺南縣政府公告園區內4棟建築為縣定古蹟，包括「紅樓」、「招待所」、「紅磚餐廳」與「廠長宿舍」，經修復現作為工藝類藝術品展覽空間。「紅樓」為紅磚造建築，外觀展現出理性的精神，原為總社辦公室；「招待所」為木構建築，屬日本民居風格，原為日治時期糖廠俱樂部；「紅磚餐廳」亦為紅磚造建築，具線條趣味性及紅白色彩對比性，原為日治時期糖廠俱樂部附屬食堂；「廠長宿舍」則為傳統日式的木構建築，外型典雅動人。

總爺藝文中心於2001年以來積極推展各項藝文活動，提供藝術家交流及創作發表之場所，並規劃辦理豐富的動態性表演活動及工藝展覽。2010年至2015年間，為帶動地方生活美學與復興傳統工藝，總爺藝文中心積極邀請工藝藝術家進駐創作，並協助藝術家辦理展覽與工藝推廣教學，使民眾能夠體驗生活工藝美學的樂趣。

2015年總爺國際藝術家進駐計畫總共有29位國內外藝術家投件申請，經審查後，評選出6名優秀藝術家；其中包含2位當代藝術及4位工藝創作者。總爺國際藝術村提供藝術家住宿、工作室、基本創作設備與展演空間，鼓勵藝術家與當地的人文環境做緊密的交流，以深入認識民間信仰、傳統技藝、在地歷史與產業發展，並與社區民眾互動、與鄰近藝術學校進行交流活動。

A century ago, TsungYeh Arts and Cultural Center was headquarter of Japanese Meiji Sugar Manufacturing Corporation, which was founded in 1906. Inaugurated in 1911, TsungYeh Sugar Factory was the lifeblood of Madou’s economy. Although it is no longer a sugar factory now, retired sugar-carrying locomotives, stone mills, and architecture in Japanese-Western hybrid style, are displayed on the vast green lawns while hundred-year-old camphor trees shape a green tunnel in the park.

In 1999, the former Tainan County Government designated four buildings, including Red Brick Office, Wooden Guest House, Red-brick Dining Hall, and Wooden Official Residence, as Municipal Historic Landmarks. They are now transformed and renovated to house various exhibitions of crafts. Red Brick Office was the main office.Its austere and solemn design constructed with red bricks well fitted the Corporation’s core values. Wooden Guest House, a Kyoto-style wooden house, served as a club for high-ranking executives in Meiji. Red-brick Dining Hall was the canteen for the employees. The red-brick building is featured by the contrast of red and white in its appearance. Wooden Official Residence is a traditional Japanese wooden house with elegant designs.

TsungYeh Arts and Cultural Center has become a popular venue for cultural events and a focal platform for artists to exchange ideas and exhibit their artworks since it was open to public in 2001. Performances and expositions are held regularly in the historic buildings. From 2010 to 2015, TsungYeh has launched AIR programs to invite in craft artists. Art-in-residency is essential to involve local community in as well as to vitalize traditional crafts. Visitors can learn the skills of crafts and discover the pleasure from hand-made experiences.

In 2015, there are 29 artists who applied for Tsung-Yeh Artists in Residence Program, after examined and selected 6 outstanding artists engage Residence Program, which included two contemporary artists and four handicraft artists. The Tsung-Yeh Artist Village provides accommodation, studio, basic equipment and exhibition space to satisfy artist needs. During the Artists in Residence Program, we encourage artists to build up the interaction with the local cultural environment, which including folk beliefs, traditional arts, history and industrial development. These resident artists should organize some cultural events and activities for interacting with local community frequently.

2016年蕭壠・總爺國際藝術村 藝術家進駐計畫—獲選名單

臺南市政府文化局以國際藝術村形式建立跨國多元文化的交流平臺，提供位於佳里區的「蕭壠國際藝術村」與麻豆區的「總爺國際藝術村」兩個深具特色的國際駐村環境。

進駐計畫日前已完成審查。蕭壠方面，共有15位藝術家入選為正取名單，備取名單3位；總爺方面，共有5位藝術家入選為正取名單，備取名單2位。詳細名單如後，恭喜獲選的藝術家！

Please click the ‘Register’ link on the front page. After you have successfully registered, an email will be sent automatically to your given email address, which will be your account ID.
Q3: 註冊完成後，無法重新登錄？

註冊完成時系統會自動發送「註冊成功通知信」，信件內容包含您註冊的帳號及密碼。請使用該帳號密碼登錄。若是無法找到通知信，請搜尋垃圾郵件夾，有時候部分信箱會自動將信件轉到垃圾信件夾。
When you register online, the system will automatically send a confirmation letter to your registered email address. This will contain your ID and password. If you cannot find the confirmation letter, please check your spam folder, as sometimes emails will be tagged incorrectly as spam.

AIR in Tainan只接受線上報名。請於報名截止日前完成線上申請。
We only accept online applications. Please be sure to fill out the application before the deadline.
審查及結果 Exam and result
Q6: 請問審查會議執行方式？
How will the applications be assessed?
從申請者上傳的報名資料直接審查，由文化局遴聘專家學者組成審查委員會，秉持客觀、公正原則辦理審查，並基於尊重申請者之隱私權，審查會議不對外公開。
Applicants will be assessed directly by the jury committee through the uploaded application data.
Q7: 如何得知入選結果？
Where can the results of the assessments be found?
「審查結果訂於2022年12月公布於臺南市政府文化局、蕭壠文化園區網站及粉絲專頁，入選者將另以電子郵件通知。」
The results will be announced on the Siao-Long Cultural Park and Tsung-Yeh Arts and Cultural Center official website, and will be emailed to the successful candidates by October 2019.
